London South Bank Technical College (LSBTC) has officially opened the UK’s first hands-on Renewable Technologies Training Hub, featuring a live ground source heat pump and borehole for hands on student training!
Part of the LSBU Group, LSBTC is helping lead the way in net zero skills across London, offering apprenticeships, T Levels, and specialist training in retrofitting, solar, EV charging, and low-carbon heating.

Elevate is a leading engineering consultancy which works to transform urban infrastructure and restructure energy production and consumption.
Mohammed worked with their design team. Here he was able to learn about the challenges and opportunities facing engineers in sustainable infrastructure. He gained valuable knowledge about how professionals approach heat networks, decarbonization and energy modelling. He was also able to give a presentation at the end of his placement. Read more about his exciting achievement below.
